Unsolicited Advice

Whilst due dates are most uncertain
One thing is for sure,
Advice will be prolific,
Some even quite obscure.

Now advice can be quite good
It can have its place
Though, when unsolicited,
Can shake your state of grace.

It can come at you from angles
To take you by surprise,
Some may even shock you,
Coming in disguise.

But come at you it will
So how do you prepare
To assist you to be safe
From even the sharpest snare?

Awareness is the key,
Unsolicited advice is there
Just looking for a place to swoop,
Everyone, some story to share.

And from staring eyes perspective,
You will unlikely have it right,
Your freedom lies in ‘Thankyou’
Cos they think they just might.
